History
The concept for Aventurs began to take shape in 1989 when Deborah Purvis began to hone her skills as a developer, buying and rehabilitating one house at a time. Within a short time, she grew her company to include multiple projects throughout the Midwest and soon, the nation.
After serving as Director of the Asset Management Group at the largest real estate company in St. Louis, Debi started Re/Max Results. Under her guidance, Re/Max Results grew to become one of the ten largest residential real estate companies in the St. Louis metro area. Debi sold Re/Max Results in the spring of 2007 to focus on development pursuits.
In 2002, Debi teamed with her longtime financial advisor, Elaine Queathem, to form Metro Properties. Together, Debi and Elaine steadily grew the company by undertaking significant real estate development projects in St. Louis and beyond. The company has now grown to include properties outside of the St. Louis metro area, which precipitated a company name change to Aventurs. Debi and Elaine, with extensive real estate development, project management experience and exceptional operational and financial experience, provide a strong foundation to enable the Aventurs team to write the next chapter of its success story.
